The mineral bath Bad Wimpfen, idyllically situated directly on the Neckar, promises a refreshing dip in the summer months.

If you would like to actively explore the surrounding area, pedal and ride your bike or e-bike on the "Salt & Brine Cycle Path"“. Along the 38 km circular route, 16 information boards provide information about salt mining, processing and the salt trade in the Heilbronn region.

The Teutonic town of Gundelsheim is also located on the “Salt & Brine Cycle Path” and boasts Horneck Castle, the second largest castle on the Neckar after Heidelberg, charmingly nestled among the vineyards of the historic Himmelreich steep slope.
